The New Zealand Dollar rebounds to mid-0.5800s after hitting two-week lows amid a softer US Dollar and dovish RBNZ sentiment.
The New Zealand Dollar (NZD) regained ground against the US Dollar (USD) on Thursday, climbing back to the mid-0.5800s after dropping to two-week lows during the Asian session. The recovery follows a dovish survey from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ), which weighed on the currency earlier.
Prior to the rebound, NZD/USD had fallen to its lowest level since late August, pressured by expectations of a less aggressive RBNZ stance. The US Dollar’s broader weakness provided support, helping the pair recover lost ground.
Markets are now assessing the RBNZ’s policy outlook, with the dovish survey reinforcing expectations of a more cautious approach to monetary tightening.
