Intercontinental Exchange, owner of the New York Stock Exchange, and crypto exchange OKX announced a joint venture to bridge traditional and digital asset markets. The partnership will enable OKX’s 120 million global users to access ICE futures and NYSE tokenized equities, subject to regulatory clearance.

The venture will operate as a U.S.-registered broker-dealer and futures commission merchant. Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is leading the initiative, which follows ICE’s strategic investments in OKX and other digital asset platforms like Bakkt and Polymarket.

ICE described the project as foundational infrastructure for future global markets. The move aligns with ICE’s broader push into digital assets, though no timeline for launch was provided.
