Nvidia has signed memorandums of understanding with six Wall Street firms to develop financing platforms for AI computing infrastructure. The initiative targets over $500 billion in third-party capital, treating AI compute as a long-term infrastructure asset rather than a short-term tech expense.

The partnerships include Apollo Global Management, Blackstone, BlackRock, Brookfield Asset Management, Goldman Sachs, and KKR. Nvidia aims to position its GPU-powered data centers as revenue-generating assets, similar to commercial real estate or utilities.

This move could further distance Nvidia’s centralized AI infrastructure from smaller, decentralized compute networks, which face capacity and operational limitations. The shift may reshape capital allocation in the AI sector, prioritizing large-scale data centers.
