Nvidia disclosed a 9.3% stake in AI cloud company Nebius, comprising 22.26 million shares tied to a $2 billion investment. The position includes warrants exercisable after September 11, according to a regulatory filing.
Nebius, a Nasdaq-listed firm with a $46 billion market cap, saw its stock rise 7% in premarket trading following the disclosure. The company, spun off from Yandex, collaborates with Nvidia on AI infrastructure and is a key chip customer. Meta previously agreed to spend up to $27 billion on Nebius’ AI infrastructure.
Nebius aims to expand its computing capacity to over 5 gigawatts by 2030 and recently secured $775 million in debt financing. The partnership underscores growing demand for AI-driven cloud services.
