Nvidia’s Q1 adjusted EPS of $1.87 beats estimates, driven by record data centre revenue of $75.2B and strong Q2 guidance.

Nvidia reported Q1 adjusted earnings per share of $1.87, exceeding estimates of $1.77, as revenue climbed to $81.62B. The company’s data centre segment led growth, generating $75.2B, above the $73.48B forecast.

Analysts had expected revenue of $79.19B and EPS of $1.77. Nvidia guided Q2 revenue to $91B, plus or minus 2%, surpassing the $87.36B consensus. Adjusted gross margin for Q1 was 75.0%, with Q2 guidance set at 74.5% to 75.5%.

The company also raised its quarterly cash dividend to $0.25 per share from $0.01 and authorized an additional $80B share buyback. Nvidia attributed the results to sustained demand for AI infrastructure.
