Nvidia reports fiscal second-quarter earnings after the US market close, with revenue expected near $91.0 billion, aligning closely with its guidance range of $89.2 billion to $92.8 billion. Analyst consensus sits just 1% above the midpoint, reducing the likelihood of a significant stock reaction from the headline number alone.

The focus shifts to Q3 guidance, gross margin trajectory, and execution on Blackwell Ultra, as the company’s prior outlook already excludes Data Center compute revenue from China. Any shift in this stance could surprise markets. The stock, which snapped a seven-session losing streak on Tuesday, enters the print with optimism partly priced in, raising the bar for a positive reaction.

Results are scheduled for release at 1:20pm Pacific time, followed by an earnings call at 2:00pm Pacific.
