Novartis AG (NVS) announced a multi-year collaboration with Orionis Biosciences to develop molecular glue therapeutics targeting challenging disease pathways. The deal includes a $40 million upfront payment to Orionis, with potential milestones reaching $1.4 billion across research and development stages.

The partnership leverages Orionis’ Allo-Glue platform and AI-driven discovery capabilities alongside Novartis’ drug development expertise. The collaboration aims to accelerate target identification, ligase profiling, and molecular glue optimization across multiple therapeutic areas.

Earlier this week, Novartis presented positive Phase III trial results for Rhapsido in chronic inducible urticaria, reinforcing its pipeline strength in immunology and longevity-focused therapies.
