Oilfield services firm NOV reports Q2 earnings exceeding expectations, with revenue slightly declining year-over-year but beating forecasts.
NOV posted Q2 GAAP earnings per share of $0.31, surpassing estimates by $0.15. Revenue reached $2.13 billion, down 2.7% year-over-year but $50 million above projections.
The company expects third-quarter 2026 consolidated revenues to remain flat or rise up to 2 percent year-over-year. Adjusted EBITDA is projected between $240 million and $270 million.
Shares rose 3.4% in after-hours trading following the release.
