Northstar Gold plans renewed drilling at its Allied Gold Zone, targeting up to 500,000 ounces amid rising gold prices and regional exploration activity.
Northstar Gold Corp. (CSE:NSG) is advancing exploration at its Miller Copper-Gold Property in Ontario, focusing on the Allied Gold Zone and Cam Copper project. The company will resume drilling later this year, citing higher gold prices and increased activity in the Kirkland Lake camp as key drivers.
A 2022 study by SRK Consulting estimated the Allied and Vein 1 zones could hold 250,000 to 500,000 near-surface ounces of gold. The property is adjacent to Kirkland Lake Discoveries’ KL South Property, where drilling is also underway.
The company said rising gold prices and renewed district exploration enhance the strategic value of its Miller Intrusive Complex gold system. Work on the Cam Copper volcanogenic massive sulphide project continues in collaboration with Novamera.
