Nasdaq reported $1.5 billion in Q2 revenue, beating estimates as SpaceX’s debut and data products drove growth.
Nasdaq posted a 15% year-over-year increase in second-quarter net revenue to $1.5 billion, surpassing analyst expectations. The capital access platforms segment, which includes listing services and market data, contributed $621 million, up 19% from the prior year.
Adjusted earnings reached $1.07 per share, exceeding the $0.98 consensus estimate. The SpaceX IPO, with over 500 million shares traded on its first day, bolstered trading activity. Market services revenue rose 11% to $340 million, while financial technology revenue climbed 16% to $539 million.
Despite strong results, Nasdaq’s stock has declined more than 6% this year amid broader market concerns, including geopolitical tensions and sector volatility.
