U.S. stock index futures edged higher in premarket trading Thursday, recovering from a post-Fed selloff. Nasdaq 100 futures rose 0.5%, while S&P 500 futures also gained ground as markets parsed the Federal Reserve’s decision to leave interest rates unchanged at 5.25%-5.50%.

The Fed’s hold aligned with expectations, though investors remained cautious amid mixed corporate earnings. Microsoft and Meta reported divergent results, adding to volatility in tech shares. The prior session saw the Nasdaq 100 drop 1.2% following the Fed’s announcement.

Early trading suggested a tentative rebound, with futures pointing to a modest opening gain after Wednesday’s broad decline.
