NAB forecasts April headline CPI at 4.4% due to fuel excise relief
NAB expects Australian April headline CPI to ease to 4.4% due to a 7% monthly decline in automotive fuel prices.
The trimmed mean inflation is forecast at 0.35% monthly and 3.4% annually.
NAB also expects some acceleration in goods and grocery prices to emerge, with purchase cost growth outpacing output price growth.
