30-year fixed rate up 24.1 basis points to 6.696%
Mortgage rates have increased since last week, with the 30-year fixed rate rising by 24.1 basis points to 6.696%. The 15-year fixed rate also rose by 9.6 basis points to 6.036%, while the 5/1 ARM increased by 41.4 basis points to 6.637%.
The current rates are based on data from July 26, 2026. Mortgage refinance rates are also available, with the 30-year fixed refinance rate at 6.617% and the 15-year fixed refinance rate at 5.978%.
The increase in mortgage rates may affect the housing market, as higher rates can make borrowing more expensive for homebuyers.
