Moneda S.A. Administradora General de Fondos purchased 8,653 additional shares of MercadoLibre (NASDAQ:MELI) for an estimated $16.69 million, according to an SEC filing dated May 15, 2026. The transaction was calculated using the quarterly average closing price, lifting the fund’s total position to 24,151 shares valued at $41.94 million.

The move comes as MercadoLibre shares have fallen 35% over the past year, underperforming the S&P 500, which gained about 28% in the same period. The fund’s stake in MercadoLibre now accounts for 34.2% of its 13F assets, making it the largest holding in its portfolio.

As of May 14, 2026, MercadoLibre shares traded at $1,607.37. The quarter-end value of Moneda’s position rose by $10.85 million, reflecting both the new shares and price movements during the period.
