Mizuho increased its price target for First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR) to $300 from $243 while maintaining an Outperform rating. The adjustment follows expectations of higher U.S. import prices, deviating from prior estimates of a 3-cent per watt tariff.

Recent weeks saw multiple upgrades for First Solar, including UBS lifting its target to $330 and GLJ Research raising its estimate to $315. Analysts highlight Section 232 tariffs and strong solar demand as key drivers for higher module prices.

First Solar produces photovoltaic solar solutions across the U.S., France, India, and Chile, with recent focus on its Series 6 CuRe technology launch in Ohio.
