MicroStrategy sold 3.46 million MSTR shares at an average price of $96.48, raising $333.7 million net. The proceeds were allocated to dividends, preferred stock buybacks, and bolstering its dollar reserve, which now stands at $4.8 billion.
The company paused its Bitcoin sales after offloading 6,948 BTC since May for approximately $432.5 million. Its Bitcoin treasury remains at 840,447 BTC, purchased at an average price of $75,385. The shift follows a capital framework allowing up to $1.25 billion in Bitcoin sales for dividends and buybacks.
MicroStrategy’s $1 billion Digital Credit Securities Repurchase Program still has $653 million remaining, while a separate $1 billion MSTR stock buyback authorization remains unused. The move marks a strategic pivot from Bitcoin liquidations to equity financing.
