MicroStrategy (NASDAQ: $MSTR) raised $544.5 million by selling 5.4 million shares of its common stock, boosting cash reserves to $3.75 billion. The funds cover 2.1 years of preferred stock ($STRC) dividend payments, according to the company’s chairman.
The firm left its Bitcoin holdings unchanged at 843,775 coins, valued at approximately $54.8 billion based on $BTC’s current price of $64,955. A small portion of the proceeds, $25 million, was used to repurchase 288,930 shares of its high-yield preferred stock.
$MSTR shares have fallen 77% over the past year, trading at $91.67. Bitcoin’s price remains volatile amid broader market uncertainty.
