The program targets workers in Indiana, Louisiana, Ohio, and Texas, focusing on roles in data-center construction and operations.
The program aims to address labor shortages while offering financial incentives for workers to delay claiming Social Security. Filing at age 62 reduces monthly benefits by roughly 30%, while waiting until 70 increases payouts by about 8% annually. Trade wages may allow retirement accounts to remain invested longer, compounding gains.
Training includes career readiness, safety instruction, and five weeks of hands-on experience. Qualified applicants receive tuition, travel, housing, and living stipends, with full-time job offers upon completion.
