Anderson assumes leadership of McDonald’s 14,000 U.S. locations as the company pushes growth and operational improvements.
McDonald’s appointed Skye Anderson as President of McDonald’s USA, effective immediately. Anderson, a 26-year company veteran, will oversee nearly 14,000 U.S. restaurants, the company’s largest market, as it advances its >NEXT strategy for growth and productivity.
Anderson succeeds Joe Erlinger, who departs after over two decades with McDonald’s, including nearly seven years leading U.S. operations. Her promotion follows a planned transition initiated earlier this year when she returned as Chief Operating Officer to ensure continuity.
CEO Chris Kempczinski praised Anderson’s operational discipline and financial judgment, noting her strong relationships with franchisees, suppliers, and employees. The move aligns with McDonald’s focus on enhancing customer experience and value offerings.
