MTCH shares fell 10% after Q2 revenue of $853 million missed estimates despite earnings beating expectations.

Match Group reported second-quarter adjusted earnings of $0.70 per share, surpassing the $0.65 consensus estimate. Adjusted EBITDA rose 14% year over year to $331 million, with a 39% margin. However, revenue declined 1% to $853 million, falling short of the $857 million forecast.

The company’s paying user base contracted 6% to 13.3 million, offset slightly by higher average revenue per payer. Third-quarter revenue guidance of $885 million to $895 million also trailed analyst expectations, with the midpoint below the $891.5 million consensus.

Management cited disruptions to its Azar app following its removal from app stores, contributing to a weaker outlook for the Everyone Everywhere segment.
