Marvell’s stock surged 187% YTD on AI infrastructure growth but faces data center concentration risks and insider selling pressure.

Marvell Technology (NASDAQ:MRVL) shares have climbed 186.61% year-to-date, driven by demand for custom XPU silicon, 800G/1.6T optics, and 51.2T Ethernet switches. CEO Matt Murphy cited “exceptional AI-related bookings” and raised fiscal 2027 and 2028 guidance, fueling optimism for further gains.

Despite the rally, MRVL trades 24% below its 52-week high of $329.88, weighed down by data center concentration (76% of revenue) and hyperscaler vertical integration risks. Insider selling and a beta of 2.197 amplify volatility, with shares down 8.85% in the last month.

Wall Street’s consensus target of $252 lags current levels, while a proprietary model projects a bull case of $352. Hitting $400 by 2027 would require a 64% gain and a 92x forward P/E, contingent on accelerated EPS growth from custom XPU wins.
