The semiconductor firm exceeded revenue and profit estimates for Q2 and lifted its full-year guidance above expectations.
MACOM Technology Solutions Holdings Inc (MTSI) reported Q2 revenue of $224.7 million, up 12% year-over-year and above the $215 million consensus estimate. Adjusted earnings per share reached $0.78, surpassing the $0.72 forecast.
The company also raised its full-year revenue guidance to $900-$920 million from the prior $880-$900 million range. Analysts had expected $895 million. MACOM cited strong demand in industrial and defense markets as key drivers.
Shares jumped over 15% in after-hours trading following the announcement.
