The contract extends through 2027 and supports next-gen EW systems with high-performance RF components.
M-tron Industries Inc. (MPTI) secured a $4 million production contract from a US Department of Defense contractor to supply radio frequency components for electronic warfare systems. The components, including high-power spectrum control solutions, are critical for operations in the electromagnetic spectrum and will support programs expected to run past 2030.
The award builds on M-tron’s existing defense portfolio, which includes specialized components for radar, communication systems, drones, and space platforms. Work under the contract will be performed in Orlando, Florida, and is scheduled to continue through 2027. Management noted the deal reflects the company’s strategic focus on electronic warfare technologies and its ability to meet defense procurement demands.
The contract reinforces M-tron’s position in the electronic warfare sector, where it provides full lifecycle engineering support from design to production. The company’s solutions are used in a range of defense applications, underscoring its role in critical military programs.
