Lumen deepens cloud modernization partnership with Amdocs
Lumen Technologies has expanded its cloud modernization partnership with Amdocs to bring its enterprise service orchestration platform to Amazon Web Services.
The partnership aims to automate the assessment, customization analysis, and migration planning needed to move Lumen’s order management platform to AWS, compressing a process that used to take months into days.
This move is part of Lumen’s pivot toward becoming a Network-as-a-Service provider, with the company managing over $13 billion in long-term debt and seeking to modernize its infrastructure.
Lumen’s new business segment, aimed at AI-driven infrastructure demand, grew revenue 14% year over year to $1.3 billion in the second quarter.
