Lucid stock jumps 12% to $6.69 after CEO rebuts bankruptcy rumors
Lucid stock rose 12% to $6.69 on Thursday, a second straight day of gains, after the CEO personally rebutted bankruptcy and take-private rumors.
The CEO stated that the board never explored either scenario and that Lucid has sufficient liquidity to fund operations well into next year.
The rally follows a sharp rebound off the prior session’s plunge, with the stock closing Wednesday at $5.95, and Thursday’s move puts it back above its 50-day moving average of $5.85.
