The EV maker delivered 3,953 vehicles in Q2, below analyst expectations of 4,618, as executive changes continue.
Lucid Group fell short of second-quarter delivery estimates, reporting 3,953 vehicles delivered against analyst forecasts of 4,618. Production reached 4,774 units, also below the expected 5,280. The miss follows a broader leadership shakeup at the company.
The electric-vehicle maker named Alexander De Bock as its new CFO, replacing Taoufiq Boussaid, who will depart after the Q2 earnings release. De Bock, formerly finance chief at TI Automotive, joins as Lucid undergoes executive changes, including the recent appointment of CEO Silvio Napoli and the exit of COO Marc Winterhoff.
Lucid suspended its 2026 production forecast in May and has implemented cost-cutting measures, including workforce reductions and supply chain streamlining. The company faces challenges from consumer demand shifting toward lower-priced EV models and intensifying competition in the sector.
