Whatnot’s latest funding round nearly doubles its valuation to $20 billion, reflecting rapid growth in gross merchandise volume and seller activity.

Live-shopping platform Whatnot has raised $545 million in a Series G round, valuing the company at $20 billion. The funding was led by ICONIQ, Lightspeed, and Avra, with participation from new and existing investors including Kleiner Perkins and Alphabet’s CapitalG.

The valuation marks an 87% increase from the $11.5 billion figure recorded after its $225 million Series F round in October. Whatnot has now raised approximately $1.5 billion since its 2019 founding, with plans to expand AI-driven seller tools and enter new markets.

The company reported surpassing its 2025 gross merchandise volume target, with over 650,000 weekly sign-ups. Sellers crossing $1 million in lifetime sales have more than doubled year-over-year, according to the company.
