Senators Elizabeth Warren and Robert Garcia demanded President Donald Trump identify the managers behind his investment accounts, citing concerns over potential conflicts of interest. The lawmakers highlighted more than 30 stock trades that coincided with government actions or presidential statements, totaling up to $1.06 billion in 2025.

Trump’s financial disclosures reveal over 21,000 stock trades in his first year back in office, far exceeding the trading volume of any prior president. Federal rules exempt transactions under $1,000, suggesting the actual number may be higher. Examples include purchases of Nvidia and AMD stock days before policy announcements.

The letter requests a response by August 28, emphasizing transparency to ensure Trump is not using his office for personal financial gain.
