Krystal Biotech (NASDAQ:KRYS) posted second-quarter adjusted earnings of $1.79 per share, surpassing the $1.70 estimate by $0.09. However, product revenue reached $119.2 million, below the $122.3 million forecast, driving a 7.65% decline in pre-market trading.

Revenue rose 24% year-over-year from $96.0 million, while gross margin for its flagship product, VYJUVEK, held at 95%. The company also guided full-year combined R&D and SG&A expenses between $175.0 million and $195.0 million.

Management highlighted commercial momentum and pipeline progress, noting multiple registrational readouts ahead. The earnings beat was overshadowed by the revenue shortfall, weighing on investor sentiment.
