Kosmos Energy completed the sale of its Ceiba Field and Okume Complex interests in Equatorial Guinea to Panoro Energy for approximately $127 million in cash. The deal includes potential additional payments of $40 million tied to future oil prices and production levels.

The transaction allows Kosmos to reduce debt under its reserves-based lending facility and eliminate a $140 million asset retirement obligation. The company plans to refocus capital on higher-value projects and will update its 2026 guidance during its Q2 earnings release in August.

Proceeds from the sale are expected to strengthen the company’s financial position and liquidity. Kosmos Energy remains focused on offshore exploration and production opportunities.
