Kimberly-Clark raised its dividend to $1.28 per share, extending its streak to 54 consecutive years of increases.
Kimberly-Clark (NASDAQ: KMB) increased its dividend to $1.28 per share in January, marking 54 consecutive years of payout growth. The consumer staples firm has now paid dividends for 92 straight years, rivaling PepsiCo’s (NASDAQ: PEP) 54-year streak.
The company’s portfolio, including Huggies, Kleenex, and Cottonelle, holds top market share positions in 70 countries. Despite serving one in four people globally daily, Kimberly-Clark remains less recognized among investors compared to PepsiCo.
PepsiCo, which raised its dividend by 4% in June, has benefited from stronger brand visibility due to its beverage focus. Kimberly-Clark’s dividend growth has drawn limited attention despite its long-term consistency.
