Kalshi has entered a multi-year agreement with Nasdaq to integrate its market surveillance platform, aiming to strengthen monitoring of trading activity. The move follows heightened regulatory pressure after high-profile insider trading allegations on the platform.

The partnership will combine Kalshi’s existing framework with Nasdaq’s advanced surveillance capabilities, enabling real-time detection of market abuse and manipulation. The integration also ensures compliance with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s data reporting requirements.

Regulatory scrutiny has intensified after the CFTC fined a former U.S. lawmaker $35,000 for alleged manipulative trading on Kalshi. A White House staffer is also under investigation for potential insider trading on the platform.
