Kalshi’s markets for Nvidia GPU compute time recorded $4.4 million in notional volume through July 27, per data analytics. The figure, while modest compared to traditional commodities, marks progress for a product launched weeks ago.

The total covers five Nvidia chips and is 15 times larger than rival Polymarket’s $285,000 volume. However, the most active August contract on Kalshi has traded just over $100,000, highlighting limited liquidity for corporate hedging.

Six completed weekly markets tracking Nvidia B200 rentals showed forecasts within 10% of final prices but closely mirrored spot rates, suggesting traders are not yet anticipating future moves.
