JPYC, a yen-pegged stablecoin issuer, has closed its Series B funding round at approximately 6 billion yen ($38 million). The capital will support expansion into financial and Web3 ecosystems, alongside broader adoption of its stablecoin.

The round saw participation from Japanese logistics group AZ-COM Maruwa Holdings, which joined as a new investor. The cumulative total increased by about 1 billion yen from the 5 billion yen announced in May. AZ-COM is exploring the use of JPYC’s stablecoin to pay delivery partners and contractors.

JPYC stated the partnership could enable onchain finance by integrating commercial, logistics, and payment flows. The company did not disclose specific investment amounts or financial terms of the alliance.
