Johnson & Johnson’s oncology division led a 5.7% operational revenue increase in Q2, extending growth from prior quarters. Darzalex, its key cancer drug, posted nearly 19% global sales growth, reinforcing the company’s push to dominate the oncology market.

The company aims to reach $50 billion in annual cancer drug sales by 2030, up from current levels. JNJ’s total revenue is on track to exceed $100 billion this year, following the 2023 spinoff of its consumer health unit, Kenvue.

Investors have largely overlooked the pharmaceutical segment, focusing instead on legacy brands like Tylenol and Band-Aid. The shift toward high-growth oncology positions JNJ as a major player in the sector.
