Iranian officials stated that discussions with the United States remain active but emphasized no nuclear agreements have been reached. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi noted that no assessment of the talks could be made until a clear outcome emerges, while parliamentary spokesman Ebrahim Rezaei warned the US must choose between diplomacy or confrontation with Iranian missiles.

The remarks follow prior statements from Iran’s top negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, who demanded any deal must secure the rights of the Iranian people. Meanwhile, escalating tensions between Israel and Lebanon added to regional instability, with Brent crude prices potentially sensitive to geopolitical developments.

Markets remain watchful as the lack of progress in negotiations could heighten risks to oil supply stability, given Iran’s role in global energy markets.
