Intuitive Machines (NASDAQ:LUNR) announced two lunar reconnaissance contracts totaling $20 million, including $15.5 million for Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera operations and $4.5 million for ShadowCam operations. The deals support imaging, data storage, and lunar mapping, aligning with the company’s shift toward data services over one-time lander missions.

The company reported Q1 2026 revenue of $186.7 million, up from $62.5 million a year earlier, while backlog reached $1.1 billion. Growth was driven by acquisitions and new awards, reinforcing its strategy to build recurring infrastructure revenue.

Shares of LUNR have surged on the back of expanding government and commercial contracts, though the company remains focused on long-term lunar data monetization.
