Intuitive Machines posted a Q2 loss of $0.29 per share on $206.2 million revenue, missing analyst targets and sparking a sell-off.

Intuitive Machines (NASDAQ: LUNR) reported a Q2 loss of $0.29 per share, exceeding the $0.09 loss analysts anticipated. Revenue reached $206.2 million, falling short of the $223.8 million consensus estimate.

The company’s operating costs surged more than threefold, while interest expenses added to the financial strain. Net losses nearly doubled to $46.4 million year-over-year, though share dilution softened the per-share impact. CEO Steve Altemus described the quarter as “strong,” citing revenue growth of over 400%.

Despite the earnings miss, Intuitive Machines secured $920 million in new contracts, boosting its order book to $1.8 billion. The stock, which briefly dropped 16%, pared losses to 3% by mid-morning.
