Inspiration Mining has started its first drilling program at the Rottenstone North Gold-Copper Project in northern Saskatchewan. The initiative targets volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits, focusing on copper, zinc, lead, silver, and gold along the project’s southeastern boundary. Drill sites were selected based on regional geology, structural corridors, and geophysical data near established mineralized trends.
The 35,500-hectare project is adjacent to Ramp Metals’ Rush copper-zinc-silver discovery and shares geological trends with high-grade showings. Notable nearby findings include 73.55 grams per tonne silver over 7.5m and 0.80% copper over 21m. Rottenstone North covers 4,512 hectares, part of a broader 31,011-hectare acquisition in the region.
The company holds 100% ownership of the project, leveraging satellite data to identify gold-copper targets in an emerging VMS and gold district.
