The Indian Rupee strengthens against the US Dollar in early Friday trading, extending Thursday’s recovery. The USD/INR pair declines to near 95.22 as the US Dollar weakens, with the Dollar Index (DXY) down 0.3% to 100.60, its lowest in three weeks.

The Greenback’s decline marks its third consecutive losing session, driven by hopes that US-Iran tensions may not escalate further. Technical talks between the two nations continue, though investors remain cautious amid recent military exchanges and elevated oil prices.

Oil prices rebound after a sharp correction, adding pressure on the INR. However, the currency’s gains persist as geopolitical risks show signs of easing, despite lingering uncertainty over energy supplies.
