Benchmark maintains Buy rating on INDI with $8 target after the company agrees to purchase CMOS image sensor assets for €40 million.
Indie Semiconductor (NASDAQ:INDI) will acquire ams OSRAM’s fabless CMOS image sensor business for €40 million. The deal includes €35 million in cash at closing and a €5 million vendor note due in two years.
The acquisition targets high-performance image sensors for industrial automation and AI applications, aligning with Indie Semiconductor’s ADAS and multimodal sensing solutions. The image sensor market is projected to reach $40 billion by 2030.
Benchmark reiterated its Buy rating on INDI with an $8 price target following the announcement.
