Proceeds from Bitcoin sales and a BTC-backed credit facility will fund a $1.2 billion AI data center contract in Michigan.
Hyperscale Data sold 100 Bitcoin and secured a Bitcoin-backed credit facility to finance its Michigan AI data center. The sale supports construction and infrastructure for a 20-megawatt AI compute campus tied to a 10-year contract expected to generate $1.2 billion in revenue.
The agreement includes options to expand capacity by 32 MW within two years, potentially increasing total contract value to over $3 billion. The credit facility carries variable interest rates of 4.5% to 5.0%. Hyperscale Data, formerly Ault Alliance, rebranded in 2024 as it pivots toward AI infrastructure while maintaining Bitcoin mining operations.
