Congresswoman April McClain Delaney’s trades in BWXT and ENTG draw Wall Street attention amid defense and energy sector growth.

A U.S. lawmaker disclosed up to $1.4 million in new stock trades, including positions in BWX Technologies (NYSE:BWXT) and Entegris (NASDAQ:ENTG). The trades are notable given her role on the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee, which oversees key industry policies.

BWXT, a supplier of nuclear components for the U.S. Navy, reported 18% year-over-year revenue growth in Q2, with a 40% increase in backlog. The company’s commercial operations segment saw EBITDA more than double, driven by demand for nuclear energy and defense contracts. Entegris, focused on semiconductor materials, has also gained attention amid tech sector volatility.

Hedge funds remain divided on the stocks. BWXT trades at a forward P/E of 37, with elevated valuation metrics raising concerns about potential budget delays or procurement slowdowns. Market reaction to the disclosures has been muted but closely watched for policy implications.
