Indian IT firm HCLTech to develop next-gen infotainment platforms for Volkswagen subsidiary e.solutions under multi-year deal.
HCLTech has signed a multi-year partnership with Volkswagen Group’s e.solutions to co-develop software-defined infotainment and connectivity solutions for vehicles. The collaboration focuses on AI-enabled platforms built on Android Automotive, targeting global demand for digital in-vehicle experiences.
The agreement tasks HCLTech with delivering development, integration, and validation services for production-grade human-machine interface software across multiple vehicle programs. e.solutions, which specializes in automotive infotainment and communication systems, will leverage HCLTech’s engineering capabilities to accelerate deployment across hardware platforms and international markets.
HCLTech’s mobility chief growth officer highlighted the partnership’s role in scaling complex engineering programs globally. The deal underscores HCLTech’s expanding footprint in the automotive software ecosystem, aligning with industry shifts toward connected and AI-driven vehicle technologies.
