The AI infrastructure firm’s latest funding round brings total recent capital raised to $1bn, targeting data center expansion.
AI infrastructure company Groq has raised $350m in a Series A round, valuing the firm at $3.5bn. The funding was led by Disruptive, with Nvidia set to participate, adding to the $650m secured in June 2026 and bringing total recent funding to $1bn.
Groq plans to use the capital to expand its data center network, increasing capacity from 54MW to over 200MW by 2027. The company currently operates 13 data centers across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific, serving millions of developers and Fortune 500 businesses.
The firm focuses on providing accelerated computing for AI training and inference, positioning itself as a key player in the growing AI infrastructure market. Completion of the round remains subject to customary closing conditions.
