GreenDot and osapiens have partnered to release an AI-based software platform for packaging compliance under EU extended producer responsibility (EPR) rules. The tool consolidates reporting across EU markets into a single digital system, automating data collection, validation, and compliance calculations for producers and recyclers.
The collaboration combines GreenDot’s expertise in EPR compliance and packaging licensing with osapiens’ HUB platform. The software is designed to integrate with national registration systems, reducing manual processes and improving cost efficiency for businesses navigating the EU’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).
Revenue from the platform will be shared between the two companies, with GreenDot’s CEO highlighting its potential to address industry demand for a scalable, cost-effective compliance solution. The product is expected to support high-margin growth for GreenDot in Europe’s plastics recycling sector.
