Gran Tierra Energy reported a $25 million net income for Q2 2026, reversing a $119 million loss in the prior quarter. The turnaround was driven by stronger commodity prices, improved margins, and lower operating costs, the company said.

Adjusted EBITDA reached $85 million, up from $74 million in Q1 and $77 million a year earlier. Funds flow from operations rose 41% sequentially to $60 million, or $1.70 per share, while free cash flow hit $6 million.

The company also announced a definitive agreement to sell its oil businesses in Colombia and Ecuador but provided limited details due to contractual restrictions.
