Gong Cha has signed its largest direct franchising agreement in the US, covering 50 stores across Texas. The deal with Bakers Acres & Cattle Company (BACC) spans Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas over seven years, reinforcing the brand’s expansion strategy.

The agreement follows Gong Cha’s acquisition of master franchise rights for 170 US locations in 13 states, including Texas. The company shifted to direct franchising two years ago, accelerating growth through multi-unit development deals in key regions.

BACC, a Houston-based family business, has experience scaling franchise brands, including a 12-bakery platform for Nothing Bundt Cakes. The operator reports performance above systemwide averages, aligning with Gong Cha’s long-term growth plans.
