ET. Over the last couple of weeks, gold prices have remained steady amid daily developments out of the Middle East. More recently, the markets have been in a holding pattern, hopeful that the latest rounds of negotiations between the U.S. and Iran will yield tangible improvements, namely the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and at least a semi-permanent ceasefire.
