Gold prices drop 22% from 52-week high
The gold market has entered a bear phase, with the SPDR Gold Shares ETF trading 22% below its 52-week high.
The VanEck Gold Miners ETF has also declined, falling 25% from its 52-week high.
Gold miners are often more volatile than gold itself, but may offer an opportunity for risk-tolerant investors if gold prices rebound, potentially driven by a cut in interest rates.
